If you already have a good handle on the fundamentals of cake decorating, then join us for this fun 5-day course and take your knowledge of cake artistry to a new level.  

During this course you will make: 

• a 2-tier double barrel cake decorated with modern finishes and a wafer paper magnolia arrangement. 
• a modern, triple barrel square cake complimented with a brick rustic design and black sugar roses to finish. 
  
  

What you will learn:

2 Tier Double Barrel Cake

• setting up of a 2-tier double barrel cake
• how to correctly position internal support for the cake
• how to cover a tall cake without cracking or ‘elephant skin’ and with sharp edges
• how to make a wafer paper magnolia
• how to create a brick design
• how to decorate, complete, and present a double barrel cake. 

Triple Barrel Square Cake with Black Sugar Roses 

• setting up of a perfectly straight triple barrel square cake
• how to prepare boards and set up a structure for a tall cake 
• how to perfectly cover tall cakes with sharp edges 
• how to make sugar flowers
• how to make a flower arrangement with black roses, buds, filler flowers and foliage
• how to present & position the flowers on a triple barrel cake. 

You will leave this course with a Double Barrel Cake and a Triple Barrel Square cake in hand as well as a detailed step by step manual. All materials are included in the cost of the course.
