Join us for this fun hands-on class and learn important baking & decorating techniques that will impress your family and friends. 

In this class, you will learn essential baking foundation skills that provide the basis of any good Easter Baking  products. The recipes learned in this class will provide you with a good foundation to not only replicate the products after the course, but also create your own combinations.

What you will learn: 

  • how to make a good biscuit crumb base that doesn’t fall apart
  • how to make a smooth and light cheese cake filling and bake your cheesecake so that it doesn’t crack on top
  • how to bake your products evenly, learning how to discern when a product is perfectly baked and ready
  • how to produce yeast fermented doughs and the hand moulding of the buns 
  • how to make decorate biscuits with Fondant Icing ( Marble effect ) 
  • how to decorate and garnish cupcakes with the lemon cheese frosting and carrot marzipans 

Each student makes and takes home: 

  • Approx. 25 Hot Cross Buns
  • 1 x 8” inch Baked Cheese cake, Garnished with chocolate eggs
  • 6  Decorated Cup Cakes with Lemon Cheese frosting 
  • 6  Decorated Sable biscuits 

Everything created in this class is for students to take home; all materials are included in the cost of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of this course.
