Learn how to make a variety of delicious gourmet doughnuts from scratch using a selection of patisserie fillings and decorations to make your doughnuts a truly unforgettable experience that will be loved by your family and friends! 

The focus of this hands-on and interactive class is sweet yeast dough, one of the most common and versatile doughs used in bakery.

What you will learn: 

  • how to make a sweet yeast dough from scratch
  • how to shape, proof and fry doughnuts achieving a high quality outcome
  • how to make a variety of fillings and finishes, some of them will be demonstrated, others done in groups:
    • lemon curd
    • Italian meringue
    • cream pâtissiére
  • how to fill, finish and garnish your doughnuts, creating decadent gourmet delights

Each student will make and take home the following: 

  • 3 x Apple and cinnamon doughnuts 
  • 3 x Chocolic’s doughnuts 
  • 3 x Caramel doughnuts 
  • 3 x Strawberry and cream doughnuts
  • 3 x Lemon meringue doughnuts 

Everything created in class is for students to take home, all materials are included in the cost of the course. A recipe booklet is provided as part of the course.
