Experience first-hand how quick and easy it is to make a selection of savoury treats! 

We have created this class especially for all students that are concerned about the amount of preservatives and artificial flavours contained in commercial party food, so come and join us and learn how to make your own!

Everything is made from scratch in this course using fresh produce, herbs and spices allowing us to create delicious flavour combinations. 

Students will not only walk away with a good understanding and hands on experience of how to make a variety of savoury gourmet treats, but also feel inspired to try their own flavour combinations after attending this course. Your loved ones are sure to be impressed with the amazing gourmet foods created by you throughout this lesson!   

What you will learn:

  • how to make shortcrust pastry from scratch, suitable for savoury baking
  • how to line a quiche tart base
  • how to make puff pastry from scratch 
  • how to make a chicken and leek filling 
  • how to make a Moroccan chicken filling
  • how to make red onion jam 
  • how to make chicken and leek flaky top pies 
  • how to make “sausage” rolls using a chicken Moroccan filling 
  • how to make a quiche Lorraine filling
  • how to bake all your gourmet food to perfection 

Each student will make and take home the following:

  • Chicken and leek flaky top pies 
  • Moroccan chicken “sausage” rolls
  • Large Quiche Lorraine with slow roasted heirloom tomatoes, bacon and prosciutto 

Everything created in class is for students to take home, all materials are included in the cost of the course.
