  • Quiche Lorraine with slow roasted heirloom tomatoes 

We have created this class especially for all those students that are concerned about the amount of preservatives and artificial flavours contained in commercial party food, so come and join us and learn how to make our own!

Everything is made from scratch in this course using fresh produce, herbs and spices allowing us to create delicious flavour combinations. 

Students will not only walk away with a good understanding and hands on experience of how to make a variety of savoury gourmet treats, but also feel inspired to try their own flavour combinations after attending this course. Your loved ones are sure to be impressed with the amazing gourmet foods created by you throughout this lesson!   

What you will learn:

  • how to make shortcrust pastry from scratch, suitable for savoury baking
  • how line small and large quiche / tart bases producing evenly baked, flaky crusts 
  • how to make rough puff pastry from scratch 
  • how to make a roasted fennel and salmon pie filling 
  • how to make a lamb tagine filling 
  • how to make Roast fennel and salmon flaky top pies 
  • how to make “sausage” rolls using a lamb tagine filling 
  • how to make mini Persian, fetta, red onion and olive tartelettes
  • how to make Quiche Lorraine with slow roasted heirloom tomatoes 
  • how to bake all your gourmet foods to perfection 

Each student will make and take home the following:

  • 6 x Roasted fennel and salmon flaky top pies 
  • 6 x Lamb tagine “sausage” rolls
  • 6 x Mini Persian fetta, red onion and olive tartelettes
  • 1 x Large Quiche Lorraine with slow roasted heirloom tomatoes 

Everything created in class is for students to take home, all materials are included in the cost of the course.
