Vanilla, raspberry and cream drip cake


Join us for this fun and creative 4 hour class and learn how to create a beautiful vanilla, raspberry and cream drip cake.

What you will learn:

  • how to build and layer a cake creating a two colour filling effect
  • how to make a Italian meringue buttercream (demo only)
  • tips and tricks on how to colour buttercream evenly without overworking the buttercream
  • how to cover the cake with buttercream and achieve a perfect, even and seamless finish
  • how to make ganache to create the dripping technique
  • how to make chocolate shards
  • how to make raspberry & cream lollipops out of RTR icing
  • creative ways to decorate your cake to give it the final touch

All students are hands-on and work on their own cake.

You will leave this class with your very own drip cake in hand as well as a detailed step-by-step manual.

Meringue kisses will be provided to use for decorations, they are not made in class.

All materials are included in the cost of the course.

We use 100% butter for our buttercream piping and masking recipes. No margarines or artificial fats are used.
