  • how to prevent cracks and domes in your cupcakes 
  • a range of basic piping techniques  
  • tips and tricks on how to colour your buttercream without overworking it 
  • how to achieve a perfect, even and seamless finish 
  • how to make a milk chocolate drip 
  • creative ways to decorate your cake 
  • how to carve and sculpt a Panda from round cakes 
  • how to assemble and mask your round cakes 
  • how to add detailing to your Panda
  • how to construct the panda limbs
  • how to cover and secure a styrofoam ball 

Students will leave this class with: 

  • 9 floral cupcakes 
  • 1 multi-layered cake (incorporating a vanilla, chocolate and dairy free berry cake) 
  • 6 creative piped cupcakes 
  • 1 two-tiered drip cake
  • novelty Panda Cake 

Everything created in this class is for students to take home; all materials are included in the cost of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of this course.
