This Italian oven-baked bread with a crisp outside and a soft inside makes it the perfect combination for a snack or a delicious sandwich.

As focaccia is a versatile bread your flavour combinations are endless, enjoy the simple rosemary and olive oil focaccia or a more modern sweet one. 

What you will learn: 

  • mixing, hand and machine kneading, cutting and moulding techniques 
  • proving and baking techniques 
  • oven set up 
  • when to add your additional ingredients to your savoury developed dough  
  • when to add your additional ingredients to your sweet, developed dough  
  • demonstration on how to make a berry compote
  • modern finishing techniques 

What you will make: 

  • Rosemary and olive oil focaccia 
  • Sweet berry compote focaccia 
  • Savoury vegetable focaccia

Everything created in this class is for students to take home; all materials are included in the cost of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of this course.
