Come and join us in this hands on and interactive class and learn how to make a vanilla bean gelato and raspberry sorbet that incorporates fresh flavours that will truly impress.

What you will learn:

  • how to make a creme anglaise base
  • how to churn vanilla bean ice-cream suitable for frozen desserts 
  • how to make raspberry coulis sorbet 
  • how to churn raspberry sorbet for frozen desserts
  • how to use modern decorations to finish your dessert with style and finesse.

You will have the opportunity to taste your dessert in class, as well as, take home the remaining to friends and family.
 
Students are advised to bring an esky or polyfoam box to this course in order to take home their products. Please feel free to bring your own containers that fit your esky size.
 
We provide students with a plastic container to  accommodate everything made in class, if required.

Icepacks brought from home can be kept frozen for students throughout the day at the academy.
