Decorating is not just limited to cakes, discover how to turn your next loaf of bread into a fun and decorate crusty loaf for your family and friends to enjoy. 

This course is designed in a way that learning outcomes can be replicated in both a professional and home environment. 

What you will learn: 

  • how to make three different dough’s from scratch 
  • understand important technical aspects of an instant dough such as ingredients, mixing, hydration and oven temperatures
  • how to make, shape and bake a range of crusty breads 
  • how and when to introduce flavours 
  • how and when to incorporate fruit into the dough 
  • proofing techniques 
  • how to achieve the lattice pattern
  • how to prepare and use the stencil correctly
  • how to enrobe the charcoal dough over the raspberry bread 
  • baking techniques to achieve a perfect crust 

Each student will make 3 doughs from scratch: 

  • Walnut, blueberry and orange loaf 
  • Beetroot and ginger loaf
  • Raspberry and charcoal loaf 

Everything created in this class is for students to take home, all materials are included in the cost of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of this course.
